Today, Leostream Corporation announced the release of Leostream Connection Broker 9.0.34. This update to Leostream 9.0 includes some minor bug fixes and some much-anticipated upgrades to the Leostream platform. Key updates include –

 

Additional Centers – Scale Computing, Red Hat Virtualization, and Google Cloud Platform

 Leostream has partnered with Scale Computing, a market-leader in edge computing, virtualization, and hyperconverged solutions, to bring hyperconverged VDI to the SMB and distributed enterprise. The release of Leostream 9.0.34 includes native support for Scale Computing HC3 centers within the Leostream Connection Broker interface.

Additionally, Leostream has added support for Red Hat Virtualization centers, and Google Cloud Platform centers. As always, these centers can be managed directly alongside existing Leostream centers, such as VMware, OpenStack, AWS and Azure.

 

Time of Day Provisioning

Leostream 9.0.34 offers even more granular desktop controls with improved support for time of day provisioning. Handle the “9 AM Login Storm” with ease by setting your Leostream Connection Broker to automatically spin up and tear down a predetermined number of desktop instances at a set time of days. This feature is ideal for enterprise login storms, as well as student testing environments, edge locations, and shift workers.

 

Multi-Factor Authentication: Support for SAML-based third party ID providers

Leostream now supports multi-factor authentication for any SAML-based third-party identity providers, such as Ping Identity and Microsoft Active Directory Federated Services In addition, multi-factor authentication (MFA) with Duo Security notifications can now be enabled for groups of Leostream users.
